Lynn Martinez-Resendiz is proudly serving as principal of Las Yescas Elementary for the 2025–2026 school year. She has been a valued member of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2003 and has always had a passion for public education. Since beginning her career in 2001, Mrs. Martinez-Resendiz has served as a teacher, assistant principal, and, most recently, elementary principal. She is dedicated to fostering student success and loves serving the students of Las Yescas Elementary. Mrs. Martinez-Resendiz earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Brownsville and her master’s degree from Lamar University.

Thelma A. Reyna serves the students at Las Yescas Elementary as an Assistant Principal. She has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2003. During her career in public education that began in 2003, she has served as a substitute teacher, elementary teacher, counselor, Dean of Instruction, Instructional Officer and has been an Assistant Principal at Las Yescas Elementary since 2025. Ms. Reyna received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree from the University of Texas at Brownsville and her Master of Science in Counseling and Guidance degree from Texas A&M University- Kingsville. She is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership at Texas A&M University- Kingsville.

Vanessa Flores-Bejaran serves the students at Las Yescas Elementary as the Instructional Officer for the 2025-2026 school year. Mrs. Bejaran has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2024. During her career in public education, that began in 2008, she has served as a bilingual teacher, an academic dean, and an assistant principal. Mrs. Bejaran received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Brownsville and a Master of Education in Administration with a Texas Principal Certification from Lamar University.
